Ke𤆣arsk� 頕it is the one of the highest summit in High Tatra and the one of the easiest available Tatra� 孄igants�.

Ke𤆣arsk� 頕it was visited by tourists already in XVII century. David Fr闤ich, a student from Ke𤆣arok and later a fames mathematician, was the first known by name tourist which reached the summit (1615). But probably hunters from Spi� were the first concquerors of this summit.

In 1654 year there were cans with parchment sheets on the summit to sign in tourist which reached the top. This tradition is continued till today by Horska Zachranna Sluzba which leaves notebooks on tops to sign in. In winter Guenter Dyhrenfurth and Alfred Martin reached the summit as the first in 1906.

A view from the top in the west direction is limited because of a near neighbourhood of such summits like Lomnick� 頕it, Py䭰� 頕it, Barani� Rohy, but it is the best point for panorama on a surroundings of Vel亼� Zmrzl� Valley andwhole Belanske Tatry.

The Slovak and Polish name of this summit comes from Bielej Vody Ke𤆣arskej / Kieżmarska Valley and this from the one of Spi� towns, which was an owner of this area.

Hi Piotr
immediately when I opened up the photo, I could see the red lift at the very top. Thats important because it gives us scale right away. love the rock formations, and the many different V shapes. excellent lighting and exposure, well done. cheers

The red cable car stands out well against the bg blue sky and provides a fine focal point. Terrific alpine scenery and good that there is public access to the summit top left out of frame. Tfs!

Czesc Piotrze, wr鏂iłeś w Tatry. Taki łatwo dostępny szczyt, ale nie dla każdego czy kazdej :). Majestatyczna kompozycja. Świetnie uchwyciłeś ten czerwony wagonik. Ostrość fenomenalna, jak bym tam była.

Excellent photo with distict view of the sheer cliff and its carved outlines.
The red cable-car is an eyes catching object, that i saw only when opened the thumbnail.

The views from the red cable car would be exciting, but we also get a very good view from down here. The steep grey rocks are impressive, but I wouldn't try to climb them. The nearest area looks okay. Another very good photo with the cable car as a superb eye-catcher.

Hello Piotr,

This is a clear exposure, detailing the rugged textures of the rock faces, in contrast with the scree slope in the f/g.
Then ... the red cable car comes into focus and the whole photograph takes on a new scale! Amazing!

This rocky mountain surface with mass of detail dominates strongly but great you have found eye catching colours up there to break the monotony. There's a good sense of depth, space and height with the tiny cable car shows the scale tremendously. Excellent shot and tfs

no co Ty: pozostalo ci jeszcze tylko 3 zdjecia do 100 z Gruzji a tu taki zwrotw Kierunku Slowacji.
Piekna fotografia, ten czewony waginik kolejki dodaje smaku. POzwala lepiej wyobrazic sobie skale miejsca.

Hello Piotr,
The red cabin is well placed between the rocks and has the nice blue sky as background.
The slope does not seem like an easy terrain to climb because of the many boulders.
