Photographer's Note

Tatra porter walking with goods to the T廨yego shelter which can be seen high on the mountain.

T廨yego mountain shelter situated in the Slovak part of the High Tatras, on the border of the Little Cold Water Valley (Mal� Studen� dolina) and the Five Ponds Valley. The cottage is situated at an altitude of 2015 m above sea level. and is the highest situated hostel in the Tatra Mountains, which is open all year round (only the Pod Wagą Shelter is located higher, but it is open only in the summer season).

Hello Janusz,
Another fine photo from this beautiful scenery. There is quite a lot of vegetation on this part of the trek, which creates a nice view. For persons without much to carry it looks like a fairly easy walk, but it must be tough for those carrying such heavy loads as we see here. But they are used to it. It's a well composed photo with fine colours and well handled light.

Hello Janusz,

This a very attractive photograph, detailing scenery that is both stunning and appealing.
The inclusion of the lady in pink, holding hands with a small girl, immediately softens the mood from one of difficult rock climbing, to one of a stunning walk.

I love how you have used the mountains to bound the scene, keeping everything interesting in front of them.

cześć Janusz, Zatem ci tragarze ida do chaty Teriego. Śliczna kos闚ka, wspaniały widok szerokiej doliny.
Kiedy tam byłam z rodzicami w 1956 roku, szlismy z Łysej Polany nie pamiętam dokąd. Nocowaliśmy w zrujnowanej chatce, bo nie było innej mozliwości. Ale potem szliśmy przez halę, na kt鏎ej rosły najpiękniejsze kwiaty jakie w życiu widziałam. Były i goryczki, i szarotki, i mn鏀two innych. Ciekawa jestem gdzie to mogło być.
