Photographer's Note
Going to Triglav, Slovenian highest mountain.
Idea for the national park in this area appeared in 1908. In 1924 Slovenia become the fifth nation in Europe with the national park. There are many beautiful nature secrets... enter in one of the many!
Some facts:
Area: 83.807 ha
The highest point: 2.864m (Triglav)
The lowest point: 180m (Tolminka River)
The 2864-metre-high limestone mountain Triglav has been a source of inspiration and devotion for Slovenes for more than a millennium. The early Slavs believed the mountain to be the home of a three-headed deity who ruled the sky, the earth and the underworld, but no one managed (or dared) to reach the summit until just two centuries ago. Today Triglav figures prominently on the national flag and seal.

Hello Jure,
Very beautiful landscape! I like the contrast between the dark sky and the snow. Excellent sharpness.

Zdravo Jure, lepo da je vsaj eden od nas ljubitelj , mislim Veliki LJUBITELJ gora in da lahko predsavi naše vršace. Lepa slika, čista in enostavna ampak odlično urejena in osvetljena. Posebi dobro ozadje, mislim nebo. Dobre in uporabne infomacije
