Photographer's Note
The summer days are really hot in Granada. Evenso while walking through Albaycin you can often enjoy a nice narrow streets where the usual over 40 degrees high heat descends to 20 degrees microclima.
An old and very good tradition of islamic towns was to keep the streets very narrow and sided by proportionally high buildings so that the street was alwas in shadow and the night cool air standing until the afternoon.
In Albaycin the rich vegetation increases apreciately this effect, so a summer walk through this district is a delight.
