With over ninety years of history, the Palau de la Música Catalana (1908) is one of the main focal points of Catalan musical life.
The building, an original design by the Catalan architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, has been declared a "World Heritage Site" by the UNESCO.
From 1982 until 1999, the Tusquets-Diaz Architects Studio has been carrying out works to redesign and extend the building, a project which will endow it with all the features demanded of a modern concert hall.
