Nothing special, just a scene from Sol area in the Central district of Madrid.

Sol is the city-center and home to Madrid𠏋 most popular meeting-point: 懀he bear statue� or as it𠏋 called in Spanish, 𡌃l Oso y el Madro隳�. Sol also marks Kilometer Zero, meaning that all of Madrid𠏋 building numbers and highways stem from there. It𠏋 literally the middle-point of the entire Iberian Peninsula. Sol is also the center-point of the city when it comes to transport, shopping and tourist destinations. All of Madrid𠏋 most popular shops are located within walking distance from Sol, and there are plenty of restaurants, both new and old, to dine at. The Plaza Mayor is a hop skip away, and a ten minute walk from Sol will conveniently bring you either to the Prado Museum or the Royal Palace.

Hello Daniel,
"Nothing special" means that I like it ;-). Your typical vertical cropping makes very good use of the three narrow buildings of different colours and different characters. The people on the benches under the big tree contribute themselves by doing nothing, just sitting there. To me this is an excellent street photo.

The trio of diverse buildings make an interesting and colourful backdrop to this peaceful urban scene. The people sat on the benches chatting or deep in thought contribute much to the mood. Very good choice of the bookmark format.

Maybe the scene isn㦙 very special, but the way you composed this image certainly is. The strong vertical image gives us a pleasant view of these remarkable facades. The trees take care for the right dimension in the scene. The sitting people and the motorbike give the scene a lovely daily life atmosphere.

The mural is really big and seems rather old too. The people on the benches underneath the trees add a nice sense of scale as well as a fine impression of daily life. Well spotted.
