Hello friends and colleagues, today I propose a visit to another city on the Cadiz coast, the town of Rota, today we can see the entrance to the city with the old lighthouse. I hope you like it, then some letters on the villa.

The town of Rota is a Spanish municipality located in the province of C墂iz, in the autonomous community of Andalusia. Its geographical coordinates are 36 � 37 'N, 6 � 21' W. Its surface area is 84 square kilometers and is bordered by the cities of Chipiona, Sanlucar de Barrameda and El Puerto de Santa Mar燰. It is located at an altitude of 9 meters and 51 kilometers of the province capital, Cadiz. In 2012 it had 29,094 inhabitants, with a density of 339.44 inhabitants / km�. It belongs to two associations, the Association of Municipalities Bay of Cadiz; of which it forms part since 19973 with the municipalities of C墂iz, Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa Mar燰, San Fernando, Chiclana and Puerto Real, and the Association of Municipalities of the Low Guadalquivir that form, among others, municipalities Northwest Coast.

Next to the Bay of Cadiz on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, halfway between Portugal and Gibraltar, it is an eminently tourist town, a vacation destination for travelers from all over Europe. In low season, its main business is the fishing industry. In the municipality is located the Rota Naval Base.

The Playa de la Costilla is possibly the busiest beach in Rota, since it is located in the same town and has all kinds of services. Beach awarded the Blue Flag 2015 Playa awarded the Q for Quality 2015.
Its area is 1,300 meters by 50 meters wide. The average occupancy rate is high. urban beach promenade, awarded the blue flag, mainly composed of golden sand. The usual state of the sea is moderate waves.

Hello Angel,
I wanted to say that the top of this town gate is very unusual but if I understand well this is the lighthouse.
That's a very remarkable combination of two different functions.
Beautiful view under the arch with the white washed houses and the tower.
Excellent composition, sharpness and depth.
A beautiful sky on top.

Bonjour Angel,

J'aime beaucoup ce cadrage vertical.Le passage sous l'arche a pour effet de donner beaucoup de profondeur � l'ensemble. L'architecture es belle et tout pousse le regard vers le bleu du ciel au loin.

I enjoy looking at this picture very much both for the architectural interest and the pleasing, graphic layout and colours it presents. A fine arrangement of perspectives, shapes and colours (although with a slight tilt, perhaps.) The light and the definition of details are marvellous. Hola Angel,

You have chosen an aspect which not only incorporates an ancient gateway, complete with lighthouse, but, also a view through the archway to a castellated tower and colourful flag.
The details perfectly sharp under a good light, with well saturated colours.

I think there is a slight tilt to the archway which could easily be corrected with PS or Lightroom.

Another of your great contribution and I like your style - clean and neat, as illustrated here of a cute old town scene timely immortalised and outstanding when the blue sky is painted with varying degrees of shapes, formations and the delightful colours. I love the small dome of the light house and the prominent arch showing the classical nature of it all which solidify the compo. They are lovely works of art and your image do them so much justice - beautifully captured. Congrats.
