Photographer's Note
The Market of San Miguel was originally built in 1916, purchased by private investors in 2003 who renovated the iron structure and reopened it in 2009.
San Miguel Market is the most popular market in Madrid among tourists since it is located in the center of Madrid, within walking distance from Plaza Mayor. The market is not a traditional grocery market but a gourmet tapas market, with over 30 different vendors selling a wide variety of freshly prepared tapas, hams, olives, baked goods and other foods. Beer, wine and champagne are also available.

Hello Daniel,
Sounds exactly my sort of market! I like the point of view using the neatly parked motorcycles to creat depth and perspective. Pleasing lights and colours and excellent detailing.

Hello Daniel,
This sounds like a nice place for an interesting lunch. It is also an interesting photo with beautifully decorated architectural details. The red and black motorbikes provide a fine diagonal that leads my eyes towards the attractive buildings in the background.
Regards,
Gert

Bonjour Daniel
Un beau marché qui semble très populaire. Si on se fie aux nombreuses motos, c'est aussi un marché pour les jeunes dynamiques. Très beau cadrage et surtout de belles couleurs vibrantes.
Amicalement
Serge

Hello Daniel In 1916 instead of motorcycles, horses were tied to thier posts in front of this large market that still shows signs of historic architecture, among others those wrought iron brown pilars. Thanks for showing the paradoxal view of antiquity vs modernity. Cheers.

Hello Daniel.
Very nice the perspective of the structure of this old market, nowadays rehabilitated, the row of motorbikes next to it is a good bonus, good light and color of the image, in what seems to be an early hour.
Have a good weekend.
Warm greetings.
Luis.

Such a view of parked motorcycles is rather typical for Italy, and you found it in Madrid, very well captured with an interesting Market Hall in the BG

Hello Daniel,
you structured your composition superbly, all the bold features of the scene are well placed and an attractive perspective draws us into the frame. The repetition, the textures and the colours are very enjoyable, the scene has a pleasing mood and looks inviting. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great weekend,
Ourania
