Old city center Tarragona

Typical lane, narrow with lots of details; each house possesses its charateristics, different from the neighbour. Balconies, door, windows differ in size and form, even the floor levels are not on the same height.

A beautiful contrast to modern blocks. Using tele setting was a must here to stress this impression.

C'est une photo tr鋊 r嶧liste de ces facades espagnoles, et e plus d'excellente qualit�.
La hauteur est bien donn嶪 par la prise serr嶪 en perspective et les couleurs et la nettet� sont parfaites.

Beautiful shot, Knut. It had to be difficult to choose the right view, but you managed to get a perfect composition. Number of details and their sharpness is stunning as well as fantastic play of light and shades. Very nice.

The tight crop here works well. You could possible crop even more and remove the little bit of sky in the top right. The subject is strong and it would keep the colours all different shades of brown

This is a fantastic picture that recalls me the old city in Barrio El Carme in Valencia , taken with a great angle and perspective , good illumination and combination with shadows in an harmonious way . Fantastic gift for the eyes . Best regards !
