Photographer's Note

Foto de las calles de Barcelona, mi ciudad. 宄ta es el Passeig de Gr趓ia.
A la izquierda de la foto se puede apreciar lo que se llama el "Quadrat d𦼦r", con la Casa Batll�, la Casa Ametller, y en la esquina m嫳 pr闛ima, la Casa Lle� Morera, obra del arquirecto Llu疄 Dom幯ech i Montaner del a隳 1902. No es tan famosa como las otras dos, pero tambi幯 es una obra maestra de la arquitectura modernista.
Frente al conjunto, el objetivo principal de mi foto, un conjunto escult鏎ico de farola y banco, obra de Pere Falqu廥 (1909), y que se repite a lo largo de toda la avenida. En mi propio Workshop se puede apreciar el detalle del escudo de la ciudad de Barcelona en hierro forjado, en el remate de la parte alta de la farola.
Photo of the streets of Barcelona, my city. This one is the Passeig de Gr趓ia.
To the left of the photo it is possible to estimate what is called itself the "Quadrat d'Or", with the House Batll�, the House Ametller, and in the most near corner, the House Lle� Morera, work of the architect Llu疄 Dom幯ech i Montaner of the year 1902. It is not so famous as other two, but also it is a masterpiece of the modernist architecture.
Opposite to the set, the principal aim of my photo, a sculptural set of lamppost and bank, Pere Falqu廥's work (1909), and that repeats itself along the whole avenue. In my own Workshop it is possible to estimate the detail of the shield of the city of Barcelona in wrought iron, in the auction of the high part of the lamppost.

Hi Josep!
Nice city view and interesting note about the architecture.I love Gaudi`s work and I think I have seen this lamppost never before.I`ll have a loook in my Gaudi-book.
You choosed a good POV and the foto is perfect sharp.

Hola Josep.
Justo hace un rato estaba ojeando un libro de Gaudi. Y m嫳 all� de la coincidencia, he de decir que en m嫳 de una ocasi鏮 he intentado hacer una foto de esa farola y en ninguna ocasi鏮 he salido contento con el resultado.
Y mira por donde con una foto como esta lo has conseguido (claro, yo miraba hacia el otro lado).

Y ya que veo que has puesto un marco a la foto... 盧鏔o narices puedo hacer yo eso?
Busco en el photoshop y en acdsee una opci鏮 que me permita "add frame", pero no la encuentro.

Hi Josep,
You have reason to be proud of your city. Barcelona is beautiful. Your interesting note and your composition with its lovely light and color shows it off nicely. I might have cropped just below the turn symbols in the street. That would get rid of the distracting words on the pavement but still show the interesting lady. She looks familiar.

Hola Josep,

These lighting structures are wonderful, another example of the fine design work than can seen all over Barcelona. The colours in the image are very good & the wide angle is very good as it gives us a good view of the lamppost and the surrounding buildings. Great work!

Salut Josep,
Il est tres beau ce lampadaire, et j'aime bien comme il recouvre la perspective de la rue. Il se detache aussi bien sur ce beau ciel bleu.
Je n'avais pas remarque avant que tu as le Fuji 9500, ca doit etre bien pour faire des photos en faible lumiere ca, d'apres la presse tu peux monter la sensibilite ISO sans beaucoup de bruit, apparemmment c'est un des meilleurs appareils pour cela.

Taken a long stroll through your gallery, intriguing and interesdting photos.
Came across this beautiful street view, bright winter day, light enhanced details of the lamp-post which is unique in style, noticed the naked trees and the long DOF.
