Photographer's Note
Another mine picture. At the first glance this can look as a mountain view against a clear sky. But the truth is that it is the edge of the waterfilled mine. As you can see the edge is slightly under the greenish water and looks slippery. You pass that edge it is very deep water.
For some reason those mines have become popular among divers who here can find adventure all around the year. There was an article about diving in this mine in our local paper on the day before yesterday and it seems that people drive for hundreds of kilometers to dive here.
Some other mines with deep and clear water are used for training and competition in free diving. They compete to see who can dive deepest without breathing equipment.

This is what perople back in the day must have thought the end of the world looked like. Scary shot for someone who fears hights as much as I do. I understand the divers, it must be exiting to dive in a mine. This is a good picture, and I really like the cloud coming in on the left side breaking of that very still water.

Very creative composition, Ebbe! Without your notes I was almost ready to think it really was a rock edge on the background of a moody sky...:-) The white colour in water at left does look like fluffy clouds indeed.
Together with your notes it is a wonderful capture and Ilike it a lot!

Nice composition. Is the white on the left the reflect of the coulds in the water? And as I understand the rocks we see are under ther water?.
Well done Ebbe.

Very interesting (and sharp) photo. The first thing I noticed were the clouds (?) on the left: was the mountain this high that you are standing above the clouds? But then I saw the ripples so there were some conflicting elements here. Then, I realised that the water must have been very clear so you can see things underwater. The white patches must have been reflections of the clouds. Your note clarifies a lot!
