Photographer's Note
Some details showing the woodcraft artefacts near the bow of battleship Vasa. It is amazing how much time the builders spent to let the ship look like a sailing galerie to praise their king.

Hi Thomas,
this very interesting and very well composed photo makes me think if I should go to this museum again and try shooting photos again - not for posting on TE but for posting on my personal website which is dedicated to Stockholm and which I, probably, will never finish! LOL
Anyway!..
strange as it might seem, that little bright blue stripe at the top enlivens this photo a lot! and it matches so well the brightly lit yellowish spots of the ship at the bottom: thus comes a fairly lively view, instead of a rather gloomy one which we, originally, can see in the dim light of the museum.
The ship is very big, and at the same time it's easy and difficult to choose an interesting composition: so many details, and yet - difficult to choose! a little paradox.. You managed this perfectly, especially in this photo :)
thanks! :)
kind regards,
Elena

Hi Thomas I had already commented on your previous post.
I add that it is unbelievable how the planking of wood has been preserved after being submerged for so many years.
Well done
Best wishes
Mario
