Photographer's Note

Sergel Torg - Plaza is the center of Downtown Stockholm with the Central Undergroundstation, the Kulturhuset on one side and half a dozend of shopping malls and many shopping centers and huge department stores around it. There is a lot of streetlife & action of all kind there in summer and many takeaway food tents with specialities from all over the world.

The place's name is tribute to Johan Tobias Sergel (7 September 1740 26 February 1814) a famous swedish sculptuerer who was born and died in Stockholm.

Extra note: this is taken from the rooftop Cafe on the 6th floor of the Kulturhuset, which also offers outdoor seating in summer. The September late afternoon sun created some nice long shadows on this popular view.
