Photographer's Note
Lolli Language.
I tried to shoot a girl with fire red long hair - but she walked away - so I took the sweets.
Doesn' that sound poetic?
Anyway - Sweden has the biggest, most colourful and creative shops for sweets. There is a unbelievalbe variety and choice at almost every second corner. Swedish people could probably die for sweets. And they love sweets and they.... - well here is the right choice for many opportunities to express your preferences.
Whats your choice for today?

Hello Thomas,
It's nice to hear about a country that is serious about sweets. :-) Halloween is coming, and these lollipops are a fine assortment to choose from. I like your tight crop focusing on the details of the candy. I'll take a red heart. :-)

Hi Thomas, Super photo of these sweets ready for Halloween.Found this poem to suit. Green cats eyes
in midnight gloom
fly with the witch
on her ragged broom
Ghosts and shadow people
evade our sight.
None may not see what they might.
We begin our door to door Halloween flight.
Not knowing our immediate blight
we bravely approach your door and RING……
TRICK OR TREAT!! We say with a strong and mighty grin.
Candy and little toys we hope to gain
from this daring plan imagined in these little brains.
BOOOOO!! We are greeted as a scary hand
extends to our goodie sacks.
The lights go black, we stagger back!!
Screams explode, others jump!!
Dogs howl and unfriendly things give us a bump.
It’s Halloween! The voice screams as
we dump out our goodie sacks and run.
So keep the goodies and
BOOOOOOOOO! To you! Well done, have a good one. Cheers Iain.

Hi Thomas,
I read the Note with much interest and a smile. YES! everything you wrote there is absolutely true... Swedes are simply crazy about "goodies". These goodies are everywhere!
This is, again, an unusual photo (as compared to "traditional" landscapes or abstract shots) but very characteristic of Sweden. Very cololurful. You created a very nice composition of a simple daily life moment!
kind regards,
Elena
PS. Frankly speaking, there was a period when I got crazy about such goodies, too! LOL
I bought a lot of them, I even brought them home to Moscow.. and I know where in Stockholm they sell the best "goodies" ;)

Hello Thomas,
A surprising and wonderful combination. Seems that afterlife still has some pleasures in reserve for us...

Paul
