Photographer's Note

Lake Siljan is the seventh largest lake in Sweden, the area is about 290 square kilometers and it is located in the center of the historical province of Dalarna. The lake is the result of an meteorite impact about 360 million years ago. The crater after the impact is the largest in Europe. Today the Siljan region is a popular tourist destination in Sweden, known for it愀 beautiful nature and for the special folklore culture.

This image is from the 31st of July, and it was taken 23:30 which was two hours after the sunset. The exposure lasted for more than three minutes, so of course I needed to use a tripod. I also used a graduated filter to avoid overexposure of the sky.
