Crosses...

So many crosses and stones. Different colours, shapes, flowers... They are symbols to the ones still living up there. To quite all the people who saw them, they are almost the same...

But to some, one is much more important than the others. It tells a story. The story of the one burried below them, but still present in their heart.

This picture was made at Skogskyrkog緳den, in the southern part of Stockholm. It is the biggest cimetery in Sweden, and one of the 12 swedish places into the Unesco's World Heritage Center. One of the very few architectural realisations from the 20th century into the WHC.

L'ombre des arbres, la lumi鋨e donnent beaucoup de s廨幯it� � ce cimeti鋨e, je trouve. On est loin des alignements de tombes tir廥 au cordeau et sans pratiquement de v嶲彋ation de beaucoup de nos cimeti鋨es.

Les cimeti鋨es sont des endroits o� l'on apprend l'histoire d'un peuple, c'est souvent fort interessant que de s'y promener.
La photo est magnifique avec des couleurs splendides et tr鋊 bel alignement

What's really appealing to me in this capture is the excellent play of light and the natural coloring so perfectly fitting to your target, crosses, this shot deserves a lot more attention Youssef.

This one is really great. The shadow falling right on the cross and yet the cross is still lighted by some light from nowhere. Wonderful compo and colors.

Bravo pour cette superbe image que je trouve tr鋊 solennelle et 幦ouvante, pour peu que le contexte s'y pr皻e (le plus tard possible pour chacun d'entre nous bien entendu).

J'aime bien les arbres au fond qui appuient l'orthogonalit� propre � certains cimeti鋨es, et la composition est parfaitement mise en oeuvre.
Une vraie r徼ssite avec un petit quelque chose de sp嶰ial, empreinte de s廨幯it� pour paraphraser Polka :-)

Ici, la mort appara褾憝oqu嶪 avec moins de gravit� que dans l'alignement des croix du cimeti鋨e militaire du Vercors d'Alain ou que dans ces vieilles pierres tombales en noir en blanc de ma photo. Cela doit 皻re � cause de l'herbe, des fleurs et aussi du temps lumineux. Mais quand on regarde plus en d彋ail,le noir des croix et des troncs rappelle quand m瘱e la gravit� du th鋗e. Belle photo, et th鋗e tr鋊 int廨essant, merci de m'y avoir associ�. Amicalement.

l'ambiance est magnifique, on r瞚erait presque d'皻re enterr� l�, dommage que 蓷 penche un peu � gauche, mais bien jou�, les photos en semi contre jour sont toujours les plus belles.

Very nice perspective and depth in this photo, I like the very contraty colours.
Nice ghostly shadows, seems like a ghost may appear at any time.

I like the shadows in this one, and the vivid colors. The picture is slightly tilted counterclockwise, something that I always find disturbing for some reason. I think I would have preferred a slightly different POV so that the central column of tombstones would not be almost vertical.

Nice cemetery photo. This is a subject that attracts me too and I even have some photos of Portuguese cemeteries.

Here the play between shadow and light is very good as it fills the frame with details breaking the symmetry of the grave positioning. The dark shadow pointing to this interesting cross is very, very well seen.

This could be a good place to visit with the beginning of the snows.

Ce bel 嶰lat de lumi鋨e �contre-jour "ressuscite" l'aspect de ce cimeti鋨e.
Judicieux emplacement de la couleur rose pour que l'oeil puisse s'y ballader.
