From my window, a photo from Sodermanland, Svealand

Photographer's Note

For the third time I post a photo captured the easiest way: From one of my windows.

My next door neighbour is a large high school. In recent weeks a small group of students have spent their time off classes playing a ball game in a distant corner of the schoolyard, normally used by trucks unloading deliveries to the school canteen (sometimes waking me up at 6AM).

Apparently they are supposed to catch and return the ball using just a flat hand (or two), but I haven't watched them closely enough to fully grasp the rules.

But I thought they might give me a photo opportunity. This window is facing the south, but I used a cloudy moment when the light was in my favour.

lepa scena iz dvorista, dobro pokazano sa lepim bojama, kontrastom i uhvacenim trenutkom.

a nice moment of joy and action even at side of you. a nice idea to register. today I didn't get any scene of human life around me, only some wild birds (similar with parrots) eating fruits in my kitchen garden. my parrot became crazy and tried to fly to them.

Hi Gert,I see that you too have moved on to compositions made directly from the windows of the house as Pavle and I do..ehhee ... the show is not the end of the world but it is still interesting, a complicated game with the ball on the roof, missing the final score in the notes..ehhee. Et godt billede fra dit vindue med udsigt til skolens idr犚splads. Du fangede aktionen dernede meget godt med de legende b鷨n og bolden. Det ser ud til at det er et godt eksempel p� hvordan b鷨n kan finde p� deres egen leg med helt egne regler.

Hello Gert,
When you don't go to attractive street scenes, the spectacle comes to you.
Even at the bottom of your window.
And no one can accuse you of voyeurism because you're at home.
Still a bit surprising, I think, what a yard (or part of it) of a high school in Stockholm looks like.
But as you write, this part of the yard is normally used for loading and unloading goods.

High angle works well on this one showing these students all over the frame. Nice feeling of not at all serious activity. But it is no wonder you don't show views through your window very often!

Hello Gert,
I must say, this is ' The Best Seat(window) in the House ', watching a live match or play, beneath you.
The Sight and Sound ... is too irresistible to miss :-)
I like what I see too. You know, to me ... they look like they're doing a Mannequin Challenge , everyone freezes (in photo).
The young schoolgirl with the ball ( also in WS ), I would give her a gold medal for best 'sportswomanship'. She beats all her schoolmates :-)
Ha! so quick ... Game Over. I see no problem for getting the ball back, easily climb through the building windows. ( Map:view )

Sometimes it's nice to hear children's laughter but not the schoolkids screaming at 6AM :-)

In both photos containing people it looks as if the same girl was particularly active in the game. But of course it must be a coincident. The image with no people in is a good idea to make it a series. Your windows are a very good viewpoint! I do remember the other 2 uploads even without looking.
