Photographer's Note
The highest alpine waterfall (800 meters vertical drop, which makes it the third highest in the world) falls in three steps.
It has in average around a dozen visitors a day.
The upper section is completely dry most of the days. 25 mm (one inch) precipitation in one day will feed it for a few hours.
This perspective, where the lowest section is at the same height as where the waterfall begins, helps to explain why.

Hi Francis,
Great view! Good composition, and I like the hut at the bottom. Never heard of this fall. Well, waterfall without water is not what tourists are after.
