Wetterhorn & Schreckhorn, a photo from Bern, West

Photographer's Note

Somewhere along a path soon after Bachalpsee (2265 m) in the direction of Waldspitz. Wetterhorn (3701 m) is on the left. Schreckhorn (4078 m) is on the the right. In between is the Upper Grindelwald Glacier. To the right is part of the Eiger. Finsteraarhorn is hidden behind the Schreckhron & the Eiger from this spot. Saw some marmots hopping about on the grass here but disappeared as soon I got closer. This is part of the Schynige Platte - Faulhorn - Bachalpsee - Waldspitz - Grindelwald Trail.

As usual, a gigantic and magnificent panorama. A good place to walk and to photograph. I like the POV and the foreground on the mountain-stream very pleasing. A well realized shot with a great quality.

A very good composition of these jagged peaks. I very much like the contrast between the grassy foreground and the weather worn stone of the mountains. The blue sky also brings much to the scene. Very good colours and definition.

Hi Latiff, I always admire these marvels of nature.
You have composed it very good and show us almost all the sides of a region, a great idea to include the brook on the left and the shadow corner on the right.
The depth and the contrast are excellent.
The light/shadow play is stunning.
I like places like this very much.

Very nice ... I love the way the little bit of water provides a little foreground balance to the distant peaks. I love the way the earth moves from green .. to burnt .. to stone .. to snow .. Timeless and powerful feeling mountains .. Wonderful image.

Lovely clear mountain shot. The foreground details is good, glad you added it..and the background scene is enormous.
