A closer view to the Weisshorn, taken from the balcony of my hotel room at the Bettmeralp ;o)

The Weisshorn, 4505 meters high, is certainly one of the most photogenic mountains, and even better in the morning light of a sunrise.
It was climbed from the first time in 1861 by J. Tyndall and has no easy way to the top.
The most known way is the north arete (on the right of the image).
