Hi Tracey,

A nice photo, well composed, of a classic Alpine scene, but the background and sky are somewhat washed out. This happens when you take a photo towards the sun. Did you use a polarising filter? It might have helped here. I have posted a workshop with some improvements that I have done in Photoshop.

Hi Tracey,

For all the fact that there's a bit of flare / haze caused by shooting contre-jour I absolutely adore the range of tones you've captured here. Only film can do this. One might argue that digital has been built to help avoid these types of minor aberrations but the only 'fault' I can find is that the contrast / shadows in the bottom left corner are a bit severe. Overall a superb photo.
