Photographer's Note

Au mois de f憝rier, j'avais publi� une photo tr鋊 similaire � celle-ci. Le cadrage est strictement le m瘱e mais la photo est prise environ une demie heure plus t矌. Au d嶵ut je n'en 彋ais pas convaincu, mais en revenant dessus j'ai chang� d'avis. Temps de pose: 1.3sec, ISO 50

That's a wonderful composition, beautiful lighting.. feel it could benefit from a bit of sharpening but still, great shot.

Very beautiful sight of the Leman lake.
Framing it`s really great,golden color from the sun lightening the foreground rocks it`s superb.Perspective it`s also fantastic.
Wonderful place.Excellent shot.

wow, what a shot this is, the foreground rocks with the beautiful light falling across them, the light on the distant mountains, superb. Plus the fact that you must have been there before dawn just to set up to take the shot, Brilliant.

You catched the first light of the day in a wonderful way.
I love the vertical composition. the rocks in the foreground and the line in the middle plan lead the eye to the mountains at the horizon, with a soft beautiful light on them.

Hi Samuel,

Classic and wonderful composition with great light on that foreground leading us back into the distance. The light is echoed nicely on the tops of those distant peaks. All the technicals look spot on. There is a slight bit of barrel distortion (curving horizon) caused by tilting the wide angle lens but there is not much you could do about it without compromising composition and it doesn't bother me in the least. Well seen and taken.

Les couleurs sont plus chaudes que la version prise un peu plus tard mais le rendu est tout aussi agr嶧ble

Hi Samuel,

I like how the rock makes a diagonal appearance out of the lower left corner. Very nice with the soft light on it. A little sky in it, but enough to get a nice gradual blue there. I like it!
