Photographer's Note

We have seen here some photos of the Opera in Lviv, here the National Opera of Ukraine in Kyiv.
The Kyiv Opera group was formally established in the summer of 1867, and is the third oldest in Ukraine, after Odessa Opera and Lviv Opera. Early performances were mostly Russian operas, including Ruslan and Ludmila by Mikhail Glinka, Rusalka by Alexander Dargomyzhsky, Maccabees by Anton Rubinstein as well as translated European operas including The Barber of Seville by Rossini, The Marriage of Figaro by Mozart, Der Freischtz by Weber, Lucia di Lammermoor by Donizetti, and operas by Giuseppe Verdi, which became the favorite of the Kyivites.

On February 4, 1896, after a morning performance of Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky, a fire erupted from an unextinguished candle in the theatre. The fire consumed the whole building within several hours. One of the largest musical libraries in Europe along with numerous costumes and stage props of many performances were lost during the fire. There is more and more terrifying news from the war area. The rockets are heard also in Poland, near the border.
I observe some panic in Warsaw, there are queues at the banks, ATMs, limitations at petrol stations.

I have watched the blog of the young people from Moscow. They are against the war. A lot of Russians are against it, most people of culture - actors, directors in movies and theatres. But there is strong propaganda on TV - it can't be said that there is a war - it is "operation". Elderly people watch these lies on TV, the young ones are interested in Tik Tok. There is a big factory of trolls. They have ready material what must be said and they get money for it. A lot of disinformation and fake news.
Military service is obligatory, and the young men are sent to fight against their will. Any protests are dangerous, they are taken at once by police. Enough that they show the sign "stop war" in their windows, they are arrested. In spite of this, they protest.
We observed massive protests in Belarus but they didn't help. I feel pity for just the ordinary people who can't do anything and suffer.

And the good news is that probably the guard from Snake Island is alive, they are taken prisoners.

Points or not - it doesn't matter. Now the message is important, not if the picture is sharp or has good light and so on.
