Photographer's Note
One of the most remarkable creations of Georgian England, Stowe was created by a family once so powerful they were richer than the king. The scale, grandeur and beauty of Stowe has inspired writers, philosophers, artists, politicians and members of the public from the 18th century to the present day. Since the National Trust acquired the gardens, an ambitious programme of restoration has ensured that over 40 temples and monuments remain, gracing an inspiring backdrop of lakes and valleys with an endless variety of walks and trails, a delight to explore at any time of year.
This is the Palladium Bridge- built in 1757 - It remains a beautiful piece of architecture

Hello Rich,
A fine composition of this elegant bridge. I like the oblique point of view and the detail to be observed in the golden stones. Have a pleasant Sunday.

Hello Rich
a beautiful composition with this bridge, of great architectural elegance, photographed from a great POV. The shade of color so soft and almost uniform creates a very harmonious picture. Perfect sharpness.
Have a nice Sunday

Ottima condivisione .

Hi Rich,
it is a pity I had no time to visit Stowe. It looks fantastic. unusual covered bridge. Superb composition, good crop, excellent use of unsharp mask, nice colours. It looks like a drawing from old book. Good work. Elegant image. But why there are no friends on this bridge?
Warm regrads

Bonjour Richard,
Amicalement.
Daniel.

Hello Rich,
It brings back great memories of that day - we did so much. This bridge was one of my favourite 'follies' there and you have captured the colour and texture of the stonework very well indeed. You chose a good position to take this from - nicely framed by the leaves. Great work.
Best wishes, Ann
