Photographer's Note

A Bumble bee feeding on an Allium flower in my garden.
They love these flowers, but it is hard to see where the pollen is.

"A Bumble bee is any of over 250 species in the genus Bombus, part of the Apidae, one of the bee families."

The difference between Bumble bees and Honey bees?

"Bumble bees are robust, large in girth, have more hairs on their body and are coloured with yellow, orange and black."

Where do Bumble bees go at night?

"Bees sleeping outside their nest will sleep under a flowerhead, or inside a deep flower, where the temperature can be degrees warmer than outside the flower."

One more shot in the w/s.
Taken with my iPhone.

Thanks as always for looking.
