Photographer's Note

he statue is of Tommy, a commemorative statue of fallen soldiers from the first world war. the soldiers who fought in the trenches were known as Tommy's, hence the name.
the green haze in the sky is the Northern Lights. i thought it would make a good shot to combine the two together.
this was my first attempt at photographing the Northern Lights and was reasonably pleased with the overall finished shot

Really nice job Chris - love the way the Tommy dominates the image. I also like the fact that you have positioned him on the right rather than more predictably on the left. Excellent!
