Photographer's Note

My humble tribute to all the heroes on this Remembrance Sunday. It is well documented how the Tower of London has decorated its moat with a sea of ceramic poppies to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the start of WWI. It is an awesome and moving tribute and this shot taken in August before all the poppies had been "planted" is proudly dedicated to my two Great Uncles who both gave their lives in the Great War. One is buried in Sanctuary Wood Cemetery in Ypres whilst the other, whose body was never found, is commemorated on the Menin Gate also in Ypres, Belgium..my own personal heroes.
