Photographer's Note
Hi,
I know the notorious roof of the ueen Elizabeth II Great Court of the British Museum has often been taken, under each point of view and there are a lot of posts on Treakearth about ot.
This is my B&W version, taken with a silver camera.
I'll spare you the talk about the fitting of the place in 2000 and the erecting of the glass roof by Sir Norman Foster, cresting the Reading room and connecting all the museum's wings... that has been said in the past posts.

Hi Yannis,
A classic scene already from this beautiful building. We have seen many roof pictures here on TE from there, but i did not seen before a b&w which i also think is a nice and good choice to present it like this...well done.

Joli coup, j'aime bien cet angle de vue, c'est très graphique et le bruit ajoute quelque chose.

Hi Yannis,
yes, a true classic. But it is still a classic! And a must. Your BW version emphasis more on graphical aspect created by roof pattern and position of the building (or better part of it) in bottom left corner helps to push the abstraction further, it creates excellent composition of great dynamical and artistic touch. Nice work!
Warm regards,
Jeri

Bonjour Yannis
A classic scene alright, but I think the first in B&W that I've seen. Well done with the framing emphasizing the web like structures of the roof, radiating from the left. Well done!

Hello Yannis,
Amazing graphical composition from a perfect pov. Makes me think of the works of the famous "M.C. Escher" (see www.mcescher.nl). The b&w is the perfect choice: it makes the geometrical "impact" even stronger.
