Photographer's Note

The famous clock face that graces the Elizabeth Tower at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London, England. Mistakenly called "Big Ben" which is actually the name of the great bell that chimes the time on the hour. The famous clock-face is 23 feet (7.0 m) in diameter and the hour hand is 9 feet (2.7 m) long and the minute hand is 14 feet (4.3 m) long. Interestingly the clock shows the Roman number 4 as "IV" rather than the conventional "IIII".
