Photographer's Note

This photo was taken at Ingleton where they have a walk comprising of numerous waterfalls, large and small, the walk is approx 4.5 miles long and it felt like it was all uphill ! This place is beautiful and I would recommend it to any photographer, but one word of advice, take your tripod, a lot of these places are very dark so a slow shutterspeed is un avoidable. I used a tripod on all my shots and sometimes a neutral density filter or polarizing filter to achieve shutter speeds of less than 1/4 sec. I had a thoroughly good day out and have lots of pics to play with now, admission was 3.50 per adult or 7.00 for a family ticket. I thought at first I would be dissapointed but as the walk progressed I was provrd wrong, well worth the money ! Advise you take sun tan lotion on a hot day and drinks, suitable footware is a must. Dods are allowed but must be kept on a lead when walking through farm fields as sheep are about.
