Photographer's Note
Walking through Knaresborough I turned a corner to see this artwork. This door along with countless others scattered around the area were created specially for the Knaresborough Festival of Entertainment and Visual Arts, sadly my visit was after the events had taken place so all I saw of the festival was these doorways, but I count myself lucky for that anyway. Enjoy

Hi Jean,
I had to look very close to see the 'join'. From your thumbnail I thought it was an actual door and window but somehow they looked flat. Well spotted though...they are very querky....which I like a lot.
Best wishes,
Celina

This shot is exquisite, the POV could not be better, nor the colours or composition. The mix of the doorway and the road paint is a great balance.
Superb artwork in a perfect position. Very well captured.
TFS.
Have a super day.

Jean
Good clarity in your image adds to appreciation of the picture. The pink really stands out against the stonework of the wall. I like these type of picture - very graphic.

Hi Jean,
Many fine elements seen in this lovely photo. The fine detail to this old stone work, the beautifully decorated blue window, the two-tone pink and blue doorway wonderfully complimented by the golden hardware and of course the cat waiting entry to the cottage after its nightly jaunt.

Good capture here, Jean, Contrast of old, monochromatic bricks and the funny painted fake door/window make me think that this is a scene of a tale or something.
Checked your TE gallery, and I think must go up to visit the UK.. :)

Hi Jean. After looking at your photos, I have to say that this one that you posted really caught my attention. At first I wondered why the door was left unfinished. Then I saw the cat and paint can on the bottom of the door. Very visually appealing and a delight to see. Good catch...thanks for sharing!

Nice catch Jean. It took me a couple seconds to realize it is a painting. It's weird looking in a good way. Great contrast of colors and nice diagonal composition.
Great work.

Nice one !
Unfortunately (or fortunately for the drivers) the arrow is not facing the door.
Best regards
