Photographer's Note
Earlier in the week, 4 posts ago, I was prompted by a critique to post more images of a recent TE meet in Stowe.
This is not a first choice post, the people would not be a preference, but I kept seeing this all week, and decided, finally, I thought the people strolling about actually added to the scene.
If nothing else, it at least representative, the garden is meant to be enjoyed and appreciated, that cannot happen if no-one is allowed in !
This building is called The Temple of Ancient Virtue. As with all the buildings, sculptures and memorials here at Stowe, it has a story to tell, it is not just for decoration; more can be read about it here
By way of offering a good value post, I also give you two WS images of alternate views. ( whoops - messed one up, have to wait until tomorrow )
See you in a week, with lots of posts from North Wales I hope...

Hi Martin!
A beautiful, very nice view. There is a very similar object at Saski Garden in Warsaw.
Beautiful color of grass and the architecture of the template is interesting, too.
Excellent POV and a sharpness.
Warm regards, Leszek

Hi martin,
Well composed shot, I like how the tree frames the image on the left and the people at varying distances dotted around gives a sense of depth. colours are excellent too, shame about the very white overcast sky...I have to say I'm not a big fan of the green frame, but thats besides the point...great picture, thanks for sharing.
Regards,
James

Hello Martin,
I like this one and I believe that the people in the picture in no way detract from its interest - in fact, I think they add a lot of interest to what might otherwise be a rather bland foreground. The people are all walking forwards, taking the viewer with them towards the Temple and the distant fellow in red [reminiscent of many of Gunnar (saxo042)'s pictures] adds a nice splash of colour.
Again, nice soft muted colours and stunning sharpness. But, if you really want my opinion, it is the fabulous lighting which makes your workshop picture a real stunner - I do prefer it to this one though this is indeed a fine photograph.
Excellent!
Kind Regards,
John.

I like the people in this shot -it gives the building scale and adds another point of interest to the image.
Good colours and composition and the red shirt pulls the eye straight into the building. Nice one Martin

Hello Martin,
Your note, and the links, complement a wonderful package. The tranquility is pervasive in this wonderful shot, with the lush grass serving as a carpet for the neo-Classical temple. It is no surprise that the edifice dates to that time when the British were enamored of all things Classical.
Warm regards,
Bulent
