Good Morning Everyone,

This is the lower fountain in Alnwick Gardens. It is at the very bottom of a flight of waterfalls and fountains.

I will add a workshop here to show the flight of waterfalls from the top, so that you get an understanding of its location and size.

This series of waterfalls has a group of fountains, too. Every half hour, the fountains begin their display at the very top; then, they move downwards, creating a pattern as they go.

The very final fountain is this one in my post.

It is very easy to get wet, if you are not expecting the water display!!!

Good morning Beverley,
Both the WS and this pic. show beautifully the set of waterfalls and fountain.
I assume in high summer time's it looks vivid-green all around, but even now I can see the beautiful gardening work there.
Fine choice of POV, backlight created good contrast with the water to the trees.

An interesting note and a lovely photograph to accompany it!

I like how you have managed to include at least two other photographers in this shot as they add some background interest to balance the otherwise symmetrical composition of the strong foreground feature of this magnificent fountain.

Lovely light and natural colours, perfect exposure and exquisite details and sharpness. A fine workshop picture too.

Bonjour Beverly,

Le cadrage est classique mais il est tr鋊 efficace. La fontaine est bien cadr嶪 serr嶪 et profite de tr鋊 jolis rayons de soleil pour briller comme des diamants.

Two very nice photos of this fountain and the waterfall. I like the symmetry, even though the trees in the background break it. So do the people taking photographs on the other side, but they are a nice detail anyway!

The most suitable sutter speed setting (not so slow, not so fast) makes very wonderful splash image. A several Cameramen(or lady) are very good accent in this so stable framework shot.
