Millennium from the castle, a photo from Tyne and Wear, England

Photographer's Note

Riverside is probably the most photogenic area in the Newcastle upon Tyne. It is my favourite place for a walk when I visit this town. That is why I created a dedicated theme for the photos taken alongside the river:

To be more precise, the city on the northern side of the River Tyne, which is left in this photo is Newcastle upon Tyne, while the southern side of the river (on the right side here) is already another town called Gateshead.

This is a view from the tower of the castle keep towards the modern arch of the pedestrian Millennium Bridge.
The road which you see in the centre is the entrance to the more famous Tyne Bridge which is a smaller scale model of the Sydney𠏋 Harbour Bridge.
I have a photo taken from that road towards the Millenium Bridge (same direction) but ironically since I used a wide angle there, the Millenium Bridge looks closer in this photo than it looks in the other photo:

A picture from high POV that includes many objects of the urban scenery and the river, Mariusz.
As always, excellent care of details, mingling old and new, sharp and distinct contrasting tones.

Hello Mariusz,
The pedestrian Millennium Bridge certainly looks very beautiful and you found an excellent viewpoint to show it with the bend of the river behind it.
Moreover, from your point of view you could show the bridge almost in its entire width.
The hilly shore in the distance seems to be quite green.
It must be much better to live there than in the houses under the nearest bridge.
Beautiful sharp and colourful picture.

I crossed the old bridge, visible in this image, and saw the new one ahead, surrounded by a crowd in that sunday. the old one had a placard asking for suicide people don't jump before to made a call to a number. excellent image.

Another splendid photo of this city that looks very nice and without a doubt a walk along its river is a good option, the effect of this modern bridge, which with its huge arch, is very attractive.
A beautiful color, which together with the good management of both the brightness and the image quality, is a great job.
