Photographer's Note

Autumnal view from the banks of the River Adur across the fields to St Nicholas church and the ruined gatehouse tower of Bramber Castle in the village of Bramber in West Sussex, England. The castle is a relic from Norman times and dates from about 1070 whilst the little church was completed in 1073, seven years after the Norman invasion of 1066, and is one of the oldest Norman churches in Sussex.
