Photographer's Note

Travelling up the Scottish River Tyne after a trip down to Tyne Bay in wild, windy and cold weather (spot the balaclava).

The river takes you down to the Bay and on the return trip the tide takes you back up again - very handy.

Swans usually swim gently ahead of you in a canoe - this one had other plans, didn't quite take off but just scooted past us.

Once again horrible light for photography, but the wee Pentax seems to cope well, even with splashes on the lens.
