Photographer's Note
An amazing stroke of luck - in between the heavy showers in Skye, Stopped the car to photograph the Southern peaks of the cuillins when the double rainbow appeared. Some saturation added and unsharp mask to get it uploaded with some reasonable resolution.

this is wonderful..and the use of DOF makes the rock more part of the picture than the mountains
absolutely first class spotting of those trancendent rainbows..here today and gone in a flash..
i think your open-ness about masking does you well as it shows not all shots come wrapped in pink ribbon..some work is necessary..i am going to use one of my w/s to do a bit more...since its a pleasing and well worth shot to work on...
did you step with your cromach to the isles?
i like skye..i went there and was told a mrs macdonald would put me up bed and breakfast...it took an hour or two to find the right one!!!
god bless
ps did you use fill in on the rock..it looks like it and if so is another touch of good photography

stunning theres nothing else to say. right place at the right time, but that was the easy bit, to be able to catch that stunning light and rainbow was the hard bit!!!
very well done!!!

Nice shot William,
A shot due partly for being in the right place at the right time and due also to composing the shot well and being able to edit it to a decent standard.
Nice work.

Wow. Two pots of gold. In fact there is a lovely golden hue that complements the spectrum of the double rainbow. Beautiful landscape scene. Well done.
