Fishing the Tweed, a photo from Scottish Borders, Scotland

Photographer's Note

I was paddling a canoe down the River Tweed, one of Scotland's premier salmon fishing rivers.

I saw the fisherman ahead and pulled in to watch him for a while. It was warm for October and so still.

The river was low with sunshine most of the day so the fish were escaping capture that day.

taken at water level this gives a good perspective and open-ness of the river
well composed with the thrust of the picture in the bottom 2/3 with the fisherman in the upper area

The river appears very beautiful blue-green and clarity water transparency under the sunshine.Very good sight view , very success image you took .I love it!
