Photographer's Note

Laugharne Castle .. This is the south west tower, overlooking the river Taff Estuary. The site most likely started life as an earthwork circa 1090s. Restructured by Sir John Perrot in the late 16th century. Finally wrecked by Parliamentarian forces in the English Civil War. A lovely site with extensive views over the river.
