A photo taken in the English lake district, this is a view looking over Grasmere.
Grasmere at 1 mile long, half a mile wide and 75 feet deep, would be an attractive and popular tourist area even without its Wordsworth connections. 'The most loveliest spot than man hath found' was Wordsworth's famous quote describing the area of Lakeland that he most loved.

Love the way you built this one up. The angle is superb, with all the different elements well positioned and leading the eye towards those lovely hills in background. Excellent light management too, which greatly contributes to the shot in terms of color and atmosphere. TFS! Have a good day, I'll be seeing you.

Hi Wilson, Nice place, photo inviting to just sit here on this bench and observe boat or to take the boat and lazily go to the other side. Nice colours although the weather was not so good.

Maybe the season is not the right to enjoy this place fully, but IO can see the attraction during summertime!
The empty bench tells the story of wet and cold days, but spring is coming up with lots of outdoor activity...
A balanced composition with a fine feeling of depth!

Hi Wilson,

The reflections in the water are assets to the composition. The point of view leads our eyes toward the mountain in the background which is giving depth to the photo. The bench in the foreground is an invitation to enjoy the scenery. The cloudy sky is filtering the light which is giving a good contrast to the colors. Have a nice day.

There are not always the ideal conditions to make photographs, but the desire for making them persists. Framing is pleasant. The bright colors of the boats are a counterweight with the greyness. Good performance.

A really fine composition. The bench and table in the foregroung gives a wonderful feeling of presence. They also works well as a lead in to the boats at the jetty. A very attractive picture. TFS and have a nice evening!

Hi, Wilson. Grasmere and its famous gingerbread. But what I prefer is the fells! There is a good contrast between the water and the fells. You do not show too much of the sky, which I think was rather grey on that day, so that's a good choice. On the other hand, I think the foreground is a bit cluttered here. I think I would have moved a little to the right to focus more on the colourful boats and get rid of the bench and the grey boat (but that's only my opinion).

Wilson I would imagine that this location above many others would bring solace and tranquility. I have to say congratulations to you on this photo. Even though I would prefer to capture this setting in much more dramatic lighting, the capture here does have a merit on its own. Thanks for sharing Wilson. Happy Spring to you.
