Strolling along the banks of the Irwell river, I discovered this couple. What was eye catching is the long shadow of the bench.

Une composition si universelle... elle aurait pu 皻re prise il y a 40 ans, 20 ans ou hier, et m瘱e pareil en Australie, Russie, USA ou ici, toujours on trouvera les couples seules au monde au milieu d'un parc...

...Ce que je trouve eye-catching, c'est le foulard que la jeune fille porte. Voil� qui tord joliment le cou aux clich廥. Le baiser, avec les jambes emm瘭嶪s, semble assez passionn�. Leur ombre fondue avec celle du banc compose un dr犨e de truc... entre brosse � cheveux, pigne de pin et palais balinais. :D

Bien cadr�. La ligne au sol pourrait symboliser la fl璚he de Cupidon si elle traversait le banc, la silhouette des amoureux fig嶪彋ernellement dans leur baiser, leurs coeur battant � l'unisson pour toujours, comme les deux protagonistes dans le film de Marcel Carn� : " Les visiteurs du soir".

Gonfl� et r徼ssi. Bravo.

I enjoy the composition with the couple firmly to one side because it shows the more graphic detail of the picture as well. The brickwork and shadow all contribute to the enjoyment of this photo. A great POV here. Excellent work.

La fusion entre les 皻res est si totale (je me demande d'ailleurs o� est pass嶪 la deuxi鋗e main du gar蔞n -)) que l'on ne voit qu'une ombre. Un instantan� tr鋊 bien compos�, que je pr嶨鋨e en couleurs.

je suis d'abord frapp嶪 par le port du foulard de la jeune fille,voil� une chose inhabituelle que ton oeil exerc� a su rep廨er!Le cadrage est excellent avec la grande ombre derri鋨e le banc,et les couleurs douves harmonieuses � souhait.

Hello Claude,

Wonderfully captured moment. A long shadow of the bench is indeed eye catching. And in my opinion, the pavement pattern ( white stone part) which crosses just at the position of the couple's heads put emphasis on the two. A long and white pavement diagonally crossing the image expresses and and makes me imagine the expanse of the limit of the place not included in the photo. Overall composition of the photo is almost minimalist in approach. And putting the couple far to the left is enormously successful because the weight of the image carried by the couple is well balanced by the void to the right of the image. And in fact this long white pavement acts as an arm of "une balance" which helps to keep the entire composition in good equilibrium. A simple composition, but at the same time, it is a very complex one. I could only say "Bravo".
