With snow and freezing temperatures here in the UK and across much of Europe, the beautiful month of May seems a world away. Seen here at Sheffield Park Gardens in East Sussex, England; the trees proudly showing their new leaves with the rhododendron flowers adding there own colours to the mix.

Hi Brian, the red treee is the focal point in this beautiful composition. It is a detail but I especially liked the water-lillies in front. Congratulations.

Hi Brian,
Spring does seem far away! We're actually freezing in Lyon. Anyhow, this is a nice reminder. Once again carefully framed with those water-lilies in the foreground and all those colors. The curved clouds tops it all off with a nice finishing touch. Great.

Hello Brian,

Thank you for this one - very welcome during the miserable weather we'e been having here of late. Having said that, although you've been suffering with snow and freezing temperatures down south, today in Scotland was glorious with a misty morning followed by bright sun. Unfortunately, I never managed to venture out with my camera because I'm in the middle of sanding a floor - a thankless task!

Lovely rich colours and fabulous reflections, all under a glorious spring sky. And, as always, stunning sharpness and detail.

Hi Brian,
wonderful composition. The colors are so pleasantly saturated with the red bushes well standing out and adding another tone to the palette. I like very much the leaves at the water surface in the foreground and the subtle touches of clouds make a wonderful decoration in the sky. Beautiful work,

Hello Brian,

A marvellous blue sky that contrasts well against the red flowering tree along the shoreline. Good sharpness & superb symmetrical reflections. Well composed too with excellent framing on the wispy white clouds in the sky. Tfs!
