Hello Paul - Both your uploads from this location are beautifully managed and full of atmosphere but on balance I think I prefer the composition of this one. The strong diagonal of the rusted railing leads the eye down to the ominous-looking water. The light has cast wonderful shadows and given the railing very attractive highlights. A creative shot and a pleasure to see. Warm regards rosemary

Good morning Paul,
very nice the view as the presentation of the light and colour tints of the scene from this section of the Roker seafront.
I like the excellent placement of the rails in the frame as the atmospheric light of it.

You framed in order to get the rail starting from the top left and make us dive in the moving sea. The dark shadows adds some drama to your enigmatic shot.
I would have avoid to have a black triangle at top right
