Photographer's Note
Port Mulgrave was once a busy port where ironstone was shipped from mines along the North Yorkshire & Cleveland area up to the steelworks of Newcastle. It was demolished by the Royal Engineers during the second World War (to slow down any German invasion forces) and has slowly decayed ever since.

It looks as if it's decayed so much that I can't discern anything resembling a port! I certainly wouldn't want to bring my boat in here! But of course the photograph is about sea and rocks, not marine safety. The placement of the "main" rock is in the strong thirds position, and this is counterbalanced by the distant headland and the seaward rocks. And your trademark Black Glass as well!
