Hello John,
The title is still perfectly relevant. Although the composition as such is fairly plain, the elements of this bright day in winter have created a stunning view which you handled with a very careful exposure. Personally I am even more fond of both workshop photos, which give us close looks at two fantastic works by the artist called Nature, but they may have been regarded by a moderator as stretching the TOS too far.

Hi John,3 amazing memories of the cold days of January in your country,now the weather is surely better and these days seems so far...a very nice view with the frozen snow and the carpet of snow,and 2 great macro showing the effects of the frozen mist creating magic forms with its crystals,i like it! C'est bien le genre de paysage que je vois jour après jour lorsque je prends ma marche quotidienne. L'effet du froid est remarquable avec cette petite brume frigorifique.

Hello John,

I love all three photographs, in fact the wire or the grasses, your w/s, could have been super and very different, main posts.
This main shot is so pristine! Without the snow, the impression would have been quite different.
I'm not complaining, I love it!
This is a type of composition that I particularly like, too, with a strong f/g presence, setting the scene and creating a fine sense of depth to an attractive b/g.
Do you remember when Gaffer used to critique and mentioned that there should always be a strong, f/g triangle? I still look for that and I think you've got it, here.
It is a really beautiful scene, wild and free!

hello John, First in Liechtenstein in January, and later in Iceland, I have seen wonderful winter this year. A lot of snow, mist, frost and sun :), like here. The charming picture with the grasses and the spruce tree covered with the fresh snow. You had a nice walking.

Hello John,
You do some lovely walks and I envy the snow that you have had. We have almost none and certainly nothing worth recording on camera. The gate makes a point of interest that leads to the wide landscape beyond.

Amazing series of beautiful winter shots. All three a joy to look at, especially today, as I'm imprisoned at home by pouring rain and howling wind (will try a walk in my local common later... I think).
Masterful composition with layers of white light and blue shade and the tree framing the image on the right.
