Photographer's Note

Good Morning Everyone,

Yesterday, I posted a photograph of the very modern library, in Norwich.

I made some reference to the outer steps being a gathering place for the students. My photograph shows more clearly how they were gathering. They reminded me of how a crowd would be situated in an amphitheatre.

I was tempted to call the shot 'Watching the World Go By' but the students were eating, involved in private conversations or texting on phones. They certainly weren't watching the passers-by.

The library was a new development in the city but was very close to a much older building, the town hall (which I will show later). The new and the old mix and merge in this city.

Have a good day, Bev :-)
