Photographer's Note

I like visiting new places very much but sometimes I dont want to drive too far. If I am in a new place, depending on the time available, I usually focus on the postcard like compositions. But when I visit a place for the second or third time, I dont feel the pressure of having the postcard like scene done again so I can focus on new different angles. Sometimes it is the opposite: if the first visit was not lucky weather-wise, maybe the second visit will allow photographing the most popular picturesque spots.
Anyway, it is not the first time I visited Ripon. It is just 40 minutes drive from where I live. Beautiful little town with the main attraction being the Ripon Cathedral.
I have presented to you the fa蓷de of the cathedral, long time ago here:

Today for a change a view of the back side of the cathedral. The word backyard came to my mind for two reasons. 1. It is literally the back yard of the cathedral. 2. This is one of the very local destinations for me to visit, and it is a second meaning of the word backyard.
