Photographer's Note
This was taken at Lake Coniston, in the Lake District, as the sun was going down. There is a reflection of the vapour trail of a jet plane. I have used contrast masking and Neat Image.

Very nice abstract. You choosed the right cropping on this one. The reflections makes the water alive, gives it a very nice texture.

Very creative shot, Martin. The contrast of soft water and hard rock works very well and so does your diagonal composition. But the best thing is your idea of combining the trail in the sky with the little wall of rocks. Very well done!

Very nice shot! Beautiful choice of elements. I'm afraid you've sharpened it rather heavily (or it might be a result of your contrast masking) - the halos on the contrasting edges are not so nice.

This was already beautiful on the thumbnail it is even better large. The lead-in, the colour shading, the mood and admosphere, well done Martin!

Looking to the thumbnail I said: very well put in scene, nice composition.
Even more I look to the photo - even more have the impression that less software could be better. Can't tell you what exactly - don't know to much about, I'm just learning it. I meen the edges and the colour of the shadow.
Anyhow - a good one

A very nice one Martin. Good angle, the diagonal is efficient, and the colors so pure. What a pity the pic seems to have suffered from the compression (on the bank area).

Very nice and crisp clear picture. Before I read you note, I thought it was the irisation of some liquid flowing out of the rock.

This is very impressive, Martin, and I really commend you for having the idea and the eye to do this. It's well composed, and the play of reflections and shadows is effective. Great!

Lovely soft colours. Detail retained in all but the very darkest of areas. There is a real tranquility to this picture. I like it a lot.

Very nice contrast between sturdy rocks shapes and soft, fluid water silhouettes. Nicely seen!

Je n'ajouterai rien de plus sinon que l'artiste est bien là comme l'indique toute son oeuvre

Those squiggly lines are so unique and interesting. Looks ike a painter decided to doodle on the water! The contrasts and angles work together in this image to make it engaging and artistic. Nice work!

The composition of this shot is very artistic. You have the'coup d'oeuil de l'artiste'. You also have this urge of perfection that makes the result over-perfect. I think something happened in NeatImage. But, once again, that doesn't alter the beauty oif the composition and the geniality of the idea. Congratulations.

wow this is a beautiful image. the reflections are superb and the cropping works well. the edges of the dark areas however have quite a bit of haloing and stray artifacts which are distracting. possibly using despeckle at 50 or 60% might have helped some. otherwise this is a fine image with lots of imopact.

Really well seen and captured. Good composition and colors. The fact that it is actualy a reflection from the sky makes this very interesting!

Beautiful photo! The Neat Image work is superbly used here because it gave an incredible softness to the textures. Very simple and sucessful composition.

Coniston isn't a Lake, it's a Water!
Nice graphic image. Well done. Border's a bit too thin for my liking.
