Photographer's Note
Photograph taken in the Victoria & Albert Museum (next to the Natural History Museum) in London.
These are plaster casts of the tombstones of famous people. The actual tombstones are located somewhere elses.
In the V&A museum you can also see the reproduction of the statue of David by Michelangelo.
And my photo shows Eleanor of Aquitaine (1124-1204), the Queen of France and England, the mother of Philip III Augustus and Richard I Lionheart.
[the other two kings to the right...I forgot their names...)
Eleanor was often considered as the most powerful women ever in the Middle Ages. She's very attractive and even took part in the 2nd Crusade, commanding her army of knights from Aquitaine.
First married to a French King, divorced him (the Pope allowed that) and then married a Norman King, Henry II - the King of England at that time.
And her tomb effigy portrays her reading the Bible. (She's actually entombed in Fontevraud Abbey, France - where Richard & Henry were entombed, too.)

Hi CheukHin,
Very good composition and DOF, with sharp foreground and background, and lots of rich textures and details.
The exposure is very good too, and the image has great contrast and colors.
Best regards,
Carlos

Hi Cheukhin, An impressive detailed shot of the sculptures. It is interesting to show the picture of the RIP. You did a good job to this long exposure indoor shot. You do have a pair of steady hands to hold for 1/8 to this clear shot.

Hi Cheuk,
nice shot. I like this sort of detail work myself. I like how you humanize this stone statue. I relly like the POV. Maybe a larger aperature to isolate the lady statue?

A very sweet way of showing this famous woman, Cheuk, supine and reading (reminds me of myself at 2am!), a beautiful perspective with the king and another woman, taken with a judicious dof to show all these details. A fine work,
