Photographer's Note
This is the Portsmouth South Pier Parade. It is usually full of people ... but it was also cold.
I was quite lucky with the position of the moon.
I took it with my F75 Nikon, and it was scanned.
It used a color film, and scanned the photo. The picture has been cropped, color was change to "variation of grey", and the frame added.
I hope all of it is acceptable ! ;-)

Hi Olivier, this is a nice moody photo of Portsmouth pier. The increased grain from the scan helps to add to the mood. It's a good conversion to B&W but I would adjust the contrast a little as there are no true highlights. I find the frame a little distracting but I know it's a personal taste. Stephen

Hey Olivier
This is a very nicely captured image and to adds the interest here, you got the moon up in the sky. Bravo.
Moreover, the riverting of the B&W effect works well in this image.
Nice work, Olivier.
Cheers and good day.

I love the silvery tones here, Olivier. The contrast could be adjusted, but I really enjoy the silvery tones which would disapear with more contrast.

Hi Olivier,
excellent job here with this beautiful silver/black and white. The grain add the right mood at this pic, well presented!
Thanks for sharing and regards
